CHCNAV RS7
Handheld LiDAR SLAM scanner for fast as-built and BIM reality capture.
CHC Navigation builds GNSS and RTK positioning hardware, handheld SLAM scanners, mapping drones, and airborne LiDAR payloads. ScanSupply supplies and supports the full line on both sides of the border, quoted and configured to the work you actually do.

The full line we stock and support, grouped by the job it does. Every unit is quoted and configured to your workflow.
Handheld LiDAR SLAM scanner for fast as-built and BIM reality capture.
All-constellation IMU-RTK GNSS rover with tilt compensation.
Pocket-sized visual IMU-RTK receiver: 750 g, IP68, 16.5 h, configurable as base or rover.
Visual-LiDAR RTK rover: keeps positioning without GNSS to ±5 cm over 20 m, outputs LAS with no post-processing.
Rotor mapping drone: 5 kg payload, 52 min with a 2 kg payload, LiDAR-ready.
UAV LiDAR payload: 2,100 m range, 2M pts/s, 16 returns, 1.35 kg.
Three rovers, three genuinely different jobs. This is the question we get asked most, so here is the honest answer rather than a spec dump.
| Model | i89 | i93 | ViLi i100 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best at | Smallest, IP68, −40 °C | The connected workhorse | Works without satellites |

| Battery | 16.5 h rover | Long-run rover | 22 h rover, ~5 h LiDAR |
| Buy it when | Rough conditions, tight budgets on weight, and crews who want the same model to serve as either the base or the rover. | Daily production survey and construction layout on an existing CORS or NTRIP network. | Canopy, urban corridors, and anywhere the sky disappears. The field software on the controller. Point survey, stakeout, visual and tilt measurement, and CAD-ready output straight from the pole.
Pre-processing for scanner and airborne data: trajectory solving, point-cloud generation, colourization, and airborne 3D modelling.
Production post-processing in Standard and Pro tiers, for classification, feature extraction, and deliverable preparation.
Office software for GNSS baseline processing, network adjustment, and static and PPK workflows.

Yes. ScanSupply is an authorized CHC Navigation dealer for Canada and the United States. That means genuine, brand-new equipment, full manufacturer warranty, and factory-backed support rather than grey-market imports.
Yes. ScanSupply supplies the CHC Navigation range across every Canadian province, including GNSS and RTK rovers, handheld SLAM scanners, mapping drones, and airborne LiDAR payloads. Tell us your workflow and region and we quote the configuration that fits it.
Yes. The same CHC Navigation range is supplied across the United States, quoted in USD, with the same genuine equipment and full manufacturer warranty. Tell us your correction network and deliverable and we configure against them.

Pricing is sent by quote. The final price depends on the accessories, software licences, and support included with the unit, so we send an itemized quote rather than one number. Most quotes go out within one business day.
The i89 is the smallest and most rugged, survives IP68 and −40 °C, and can act as its own UHF base. The i93 is the everyday production workhorse for crews on an existing correction network. The ViLi i100 is the only one that keeps surveying when GNSS is unavailable, holding ±5 cm inside a 20 metre radius with no satellites at all.
Yes. CHCNAV receivers work over standard RTK, NTRIP, and RTCM corrections on the CORS networks you already run, and output standard formats for your CAD, GIS, and survey software. We confirm compatibility with your specific setup before quoting.
Yes. Everything we supply is genuine, brand-new equipment carrying the full manufacturer warranty, serviced and supported across both countries.
Tell us your workflow and region and a ScanSupply specialist gets back to you, typically within one business day, with pricing, configuration options, and availability.
The people specifying your configuration have run this equipment on real sites, not just sold it. That is why a quote comes back with a recommendation and a reason, rather than a line item.
