Much of the core GTA sits in controlled airspace tied to Toronto Pearson and Billy Bishop, so mapping flights typically need an Advanced certificate and NAV CANADA authorization. Ontario made CGVD2013 its official vertical datum on 29 February 2024, and NAD83(Original) is being phased out by 2028. Deliverables still quoted on CGVD28 or NAD83-ORIG need converting, and the epoch here is 2010 — not the 1997 used next door in Quebec.
