What the FARO Focus Premium is for
The Focus Premium exists for one reason: the 200 metre tier. When a site keeps running past 100 metres but never approaches 400, this is where the station plan stops being the constraint and you stop paying for reach you will not use. It captures dense, millimetre-grade point clouds of buildings, façades, and interiors, with HDR colour and on-site compensation.

Is the FARO Focus Premium right for your job?
Good candidate when
Mixed interior and exterior work where 100 metres runs out but 400 is more than the site will ever need. The 200 m tier is about how many stations the job takes.
Consider another route when
Jobs entirely inside 100 metres, where the Core is the same instrument for less. And long bright-target sight lines, where the Max reduces setups.
Against the alternativesAgainst the Core: you are paying for reach and the 13 MP HDR camera, not accuracy. Against the Max: the same instrument without the 400 m reach or the perpetual Flash licence.
